Makeover Contest
The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) has sponsored the Home Energy Makeover Contest to help residents learn more about enhancing the comfort and value of their homes by reducing their energy use. The contest has closed as of August 20th, and we have over 1000 entrants. The contest selection committee will work with local utilities to evaluate your home's energy usage and follow up with phone interviews with fifty or so entrants. Ten finalists will be selected to receive a free home performance assessment, and our two winners will be chosen from this group. Winners will be announced at the Healthy Green Expo held at the Omni Hotel from 10:00 - 4:00 on September 12th. See you there!

Non-profit Challenge Winners
To get the word out about our contest, LEAP invited local
non-profits to participate in our Non-Profit Challenge. Three local non-profits will receive a $1,000 cash donation for winning the challenge by having the most Home Energy Makeover Contest entries. We will be tallying up the entries and look to make an announcement soon.
